In the whole province it is possible to visit Farms, didactic farms, cheese factories and acetaie producing Parmigiano Reggiano cheese DOP, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP, Modena Ham DOP, Modena lambrusco wines DOC, Emilia Romagna pear IGP, and more traditional products.

Throughout the year, Modena has a rich, intensive cultural life, of which we mention only a few examples here; Serate Estensi, the International Military Bands Festival, Festivalfilosofia, Grandezze e Meraviglie music festival, the opera, ballet and drama season in the province theatres as well as numerous trade fairs, markets and antiques exhibitions.  For lover of good food in 2005 Carpi Balsamica in May and the Festival del Gusto in October to celebrate the typical food & wine products of Modena.
