Pavilions
The three pavilions, each with a different size in order to satisfy a wide variety of requirements, comprise an exhibition area of approximately 20,000 square metres. The two larger pavilions (A and B) are parallel and connected by the central gallery; the third is smaller (C) and lies perpendicular to the gallery near the eastern entrance.
Pavilions "A" and "C" are connected by a large covered area which can either house a spacious hall or 4 x 4 m exhibition modules .
Each pavilion has road accesses and entrance doors for goods and people. The floor incorporates a network of passages containing all the stand utility services: electricity, motive power, phone lines, water.
A separate electricity distribution network, comprising outlets attached to the central columns and walls, is used for assembly work. The pavilions enjoy an effective ceiling-mounted air-conditioning system which guarantees a comfortable working environment in all seasons.
The daylight enters from skylights while neon overhead lights provide general artificial lighting. The supporting pillars, measuring 80 x 70 cm, are located at twenty metre intervals. Each pavilion features bars and washing and toilet facilities.
Shelters
The entire external length of each pavilion features a 5 metre deep projecting shelter, which can be used as an exhibition area or as a protection during loading and unloading operations.
The shelters are fitted with the infrastructures required for exhibition activities: junction boxes on the walls and underfloor traps. Mobile galleries can be used to cover external connection areas as required.
