Over half of the area occupied by ModenaFiere, amounting to 24,107 m², comprises large outdoor exhibition areas. Similarly to the covered exhibition area, these areas are also served by a rational modular utility distribution system.

The different sizes of the areas make it possible to realise a wide variety of lay-outs depending on the product groups involved. Large equipment and machinery for the construction, farming, commercial transport sectors, outdoor furnishings, products for outdoor life in general are ideally located in these areas.

These areas are asphalted. General illumination is provided by overhead floodlights. The entire area is fenced off and is served by a fire-fighting system comprising trolley extinguishers and hydrants.
